So, two bits of fantastic news. Firstly, Black Sky Thinking is going to be released on CD in the USA by The Kool Kat Music label. It’s the first Captain Wilberforce album to get an official release in the US – in fact until now all our albums and EPs have been self released through our Blue Tuxedo label, so it’s a really positive step.
Secondly, we have the marvellous Paddy Forwood doing the press for the new album again. Paddy has done the PR for pretty much all my musical heros – Mark Kozelek, Ryan Adams, Paul Westerberg, Bob Mould, and Frank Black amongst many others. Paddy was instrumental in getting us some great national press for Ghost Written Confessions, so fingers and toes are crossed for this album.
