In what must be the most productive period ever in the history of the band (well entirely Rob’s hard work, to be fair), we now have a brand spanking new website as an early Christmas present.
Not only are we finally in the 21st century, website wise, the new album is finally mastered and sounding, with all due modesty, fantastic; it won’t be long ’til you’ll be able to give it a listen. In the meantime, it’s going out to our PR company and all the online reviewers, so fingers crossed it’ll get a bit of attention when it’s out.
You also get a free sneak peek at the artwork for the album (above) which goes to show that Rob, is not only an excellent website creator, but also a design colossus as well. He also played guitar, percussion and some keys on the album and engineered, mixed and produced it (with me co-producing getting in the way). He should get an award – but he says he’ll forgo that if you tell everyone you know about the band and our new funky website.
Finally, we are now catching up with the rest of the musical community (just as they’re all probably ditching it) and have an Instagram page that we’ll be updating regularly. And, as I’m not a fan of the trillionaire in waiting, robot army creating, fascist, we’re now exploring life on Bluesky.
And extra finally – come along to Si’s solo acoustic gig on Dec 4th at Northern Guitars Cafe in Leeds, with support from the marvellous Dan McGlade. As an incentive, there will be a preview of a few of the songs from the new album.
You won’t want to miss it – and it’s pay as you feel!
